One of the most common questions after a storm is simply: how long is this going to take? Here's a realistic breakdown, though your specific timeline depends on your insurer's schedule and the extent of your damage.

Days 1–2: Documentation and Filing

Photograph the damage and file your claim as soon as possible after the storm. This step is on your timeline, not your insurer's, and doing it promptly keeps everything else moving.

Days 3–8: Insurance Approval

Adjuster inspections and initial approval typically take somewhere in the range of three to eight days, depending on your insurer's current claim volume — which tends to be higher right after a major regional storm, since many drivers are filing at once.

Once Approved: Scheduling the Repair

After approval, we schedule your repair. Minor damage with a handful of dents is often same-day or next-day; a full-vehicle hail restoration typically takes 1 to 5 business days depending on total dent count and panel access.

If a Supplement Is Needed

If our technicians find damage during the repair that the initial estimate missed, we file a supplement with documentation. This can add a few days if it requires additional adjuster review, though it doesn't always slow down the physical repair work itself.

Pickup
